Sadie Ann Lander, born January 4th 1983 in Boston, MA. Her mother, Carol, had just suffered through the tragic loss of her her husband and Sadie's father, Richard whom had taken his own life just six months prior. Having five older brothers and an older sister Sadie was the youngest between the children made with their father, shortly after her, her mother had one more child, only 10 months apart from one another with another man. Childhood for Sadie was alright for her, though she was never sure what exactly was going on. Her oldest brothers were the leaders of the home, new boyfriends and stepfathers were brought in and out and for the most part, Sadie thought that was normal, it wasn't until middle and high school when she realized that it wasn't.

Even at a young age, Sadie had no interest in boys, for some reason she just rather be friends with them, play football with the, and just run around chasing the girls. She never thought about them in a romantic sense even though puberty, and couldn't figure out why. School came quite easy to Sadie, though she was always day dreaming and not that interested in school. She knew what she wanted to be when she grew up and it didn't desire school or life for that matter. Though, in all reality you couldn't live in a magical forest with your pet unicorn Carlos so she would settle for the local music shop, she didn't have to do much and still got paid to sit on her ass and listen to music, it was the perfect life for her.

Still confused about her own sexuality, she went off to college, more for the sake of finding out who she was. This was when she was introduced to the world of homosexuality and finally realized this was everything she'd been looking for her whole life. finding a girlfriend, and what she liked to call the love of her life at the time. An older, more experienced woman, about 30 but had all the energy and love in the world for the nineteen year old at the time. Tragically, in the summer of Sadie's 22nd birthday the woman died from the cancer she had spreading through her body and their 3 year relationship now to a bittersweet end. Sadie always wears her necklace in remembrance of what she once had and lost.

Though, still never telling her family about her sexuality, and never seeing them in four years she headed back home, well to Chicago where they had all transferred to. For Sadie it was hard to open up to her big brothers, Her sister knew and supported her, but for some reason her brothers was the hard one, telling them was not only a relief but the fact that most of them openly approved of her lifestyle and welcomed and tried to understand it the best way they could. Her mother however, supported it but still told her she was going to hell, but that was their mother. Now everyone spread apart again Sadie is going on her where ever the wind takes me stance in life and making her way to Crocker Park, SC to visit with her two brothers and niece.
